How to Make Needle Felt Zootopia Pawpsicles

Today we are making needle felt Pawpsicles. This is a cute Zootopia-themed needle felting project. In this tutorial, I will show you how to make Nick’s Pawpsicle step by step, from shaping the base to adding the paw pads and popsicle stick.
First, prepare the wool colors you need for Nick’s paw. Take some core wool and roll it into a base shape. Then use the felting needle to needle felt it into a loose oval shape. This will be the base of the Pawpsicle.
Next, cover the base with orange wool. Keep felting until it holds its shape, but don’t make it too tight yet. At this stage, the shape only needs to be fixed enough for the next step.
After that, divide the paw into three sections and felt along the lines. Then shape the two sides to create the paw outline. If the surface is not smooth, add a thin layer of wool and refine it. Keep felting until the whole paw looks firm and even.
Now add the cute paw pads. Needle felt the small toe beans first, then make the larger center paw pad. This part will make the Pawpsicle look much cuter and more complete.
Next, roll a small piece of wool to make the popsicle stick. Attach the stick to the bottom of the paw. Make sure it is fixed well so the whole piece looks like a real Pawpsicle.
Nick’s Pawpsicle is finished! You can also change the colors to make different Pawpsicles.
